Distribution: Occurring on both sides of the Cascades crest in Washington; Alaska to Nevada, east to the Rocky Mountains, northern Great Plains, Great Lakes region, and northeastern North America.

Habitat: Snowmelt meadows, fellfields, dry ridges, and shores, often limy, lowland to alpine.

Flowers: June-August

Origin: Native

Conservation Status: Sensitive in Washington (WANHP)
